Podcasts and RSS Feeds for Local Government

As the level of government closest to the public, municipalities and counties have a special duty to inform, and communicate with, their residents.  From mailed newsletters, community access cable channels, to e-mail, local governments have taken this obligation seriously.

The New Jersey Conference of Mayors recently published our article explaining how local government can use podcasts and RSS feeds to easily and effectively communicate with their residents.  Thanks to NJCM executive director Donald Fauerbach, we are able to post our article, "RSS Feeds and Podcasting for Local Government,” for download.
